Step into an Enchanted Imagination at the NY Historical Society
Best known for his studio’s work with Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Bulgari, Verdura, and other distinguished shops, André Chervin has been prevalent in the jewelry scene for years. However, his true passion, creating unique and precious objets d’art, hasn’t been shown to the public until now. His new exhibition, Enchanting Imagination, will be on display for the first time at the New York Historical Society until March 17th.
Focusing on Chervin’s “artistic extension beyond jewelry”, this exhibition features pieces ranging from one-of-a-kind lamps, to clocks, figurines, and even personal accessories, all fashioned in gold or silver and decked out with gems such as rubies, diamonds, and sapphires. Under Chervin’s watchful eye, each piece has evolved over the course of 25 years, and through his engineering, most only reach up to eight inches in height. Step into this enchanted world and be dazzled by creations like My Heavy Heart, Windy Winter Bonsai, and so much more.
